Japan Festival
Perth 2014

The Daruma doll is a popular lucky charm within Japanese culture. It represents perseverance and good luck, and can be found all over japan.
These dolls are used to make wishes or goals. The left eye of the doll is painted when you make your wish/goal and after it comes true or is achieved you paint the right eye. I felt this sentiment this doll was meaningful for this new festival in Perth, which celebrated Japanese culture.
